La Olla Beach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La Olla beach is one of the most charming places in Altea. It is almost one kilometre long and is very close to the town centre<\/strong>. People who want to enjoy a more relaxed environment will find their perfect spot here, as from this beach you can see the island of La Olla and the Ifach rock of Calpe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is made up of pebbles, rock and sand<\/strong>, and its waters are calm and crystal clear, perfect for diving or snorkelling. It is worth mentioning the variety of services that the beach offers, as it has services such as cleaning and security, as well as facilities such as toilets, car park<\/em> and even a beach bar with live music and events on many summer nights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barreta-Mascarat Beach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Barreta beach is located to the north of Altea<\/strong>, about four kilometres from the town centre, next to the marina and Mascarat beach. It is a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters, about a hundred metres long, and is not very crowded, making it ideal for relaxing and resting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is made up of pebbles and sand, and is protected by the port and a breakwater, so it is perfect for water sports such as diving, surfing, snorkelling, and contemplating its incredible seabed. As it is close to the port there are bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a good meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mascarat beach is located next to the marina<\/strong>, next to Barreta beach, and is a beautiful unspoilt cove of sand and stones, with a rocky wall that goes into the sea forming one of the wildest and most beautiful places in Altea. The seabed is rocky and there are large areas of posidonia, making the waters crystal clear and excellent for water sports such as scuba diving and snorkelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has good cleaning services, car park<\/em> and as it is close to the port, there are also restaurants nearby. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the cove is open to nudists, although many people prefer to keep their swimming suit on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cap-Blanch Beach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This beach is located between the nautical club of Altea and the beach of Albir. It is approximately one kilometre long and is made up of fine gravel and pebbles. It is equipped with all the necessary services<\/strong> and facilities. Along the beach, there is a beautiful promenade lined with palm trees, restaurants, terraces and small shops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The water is of good quality, usually clean and calm. It is an ideal beach for a family day out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cap-Negret Beach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It is located to the north of Altea and is two kilometres long. It is made up of sand and pebbles. The quality of the water is outstanding, and as the beaches of Altea are not overcrowded, they are great for unwinding and relaxing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of its main features is that it is located next to the mouth of the river Algar<\/strong>, offering a beautiful path to stroll along, as well as picnic areas and a restaurant where you can try the delicious gastronomy of Altea. It is also ideal for water sports such as diving, snorkelling and surfing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Roda Beach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Among the best beaches in Altea, La Roda beach is one of the busiest during the summer,<\/strong> as it is located next to Altea town centre. It is about 1,400 metres long and is made up of sand, white gravel and pebbles. It is a continuation of the Cap-Negret beach and is bordered by the beautiful palm-lined promenade that stretches all the way to the marina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This beach is located next to the mouth of the river Algar<\/strong>, is about 300 metres long and is made up of gravel and pebbles. It is connected to the Cap-Negret beach, and has two breakwaters, which means that its waters are crystal clear and very calm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Given its proximity to the town centre, the promenade that runs along it has all the necessary services for a good day at the beach: restaurants, shops, bars and caf\u00e9s where you can enjoy its good gastronomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
