Cabo de Gata Natural Park: pure nature<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A few kilometres from Moj\u00e1car is the Cabo de Gata Natural Park, a natural oasis that has hardly been modified by humans. It is not for nothing that it is the first maritime-terrestrial park in Andalusia and one of the largest and best preserved protected natural spaces in the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With more than 63 km of coastline, the park has stunning beaches and coves, volcanic rock cliffs, and a seabed with a great variety of fauna and flora. It is also an environment especially valued by lovers of outdoor activities and sports such as hiking, diving, kayaking and many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enjoy the local gastronomy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Moj\u00e1car’s gastronomy is a mixture of Mediterranean and Andalusian flavours. For this reason, the protagonists are fish and seafood, as well as fresh vegetables. You must try the grilled or wood-fired sardines, the grilled fish with olive oil\u2026 and, of course, the Andalusian gazpacho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Olivar restaurant, on Moj\u00e1car beach, is known for its mixed paella, fresh fish and seasonal salads. Arriba restaurant, in the old town, has an amazing rice with lobster, as well as roast lamb. Plus, you can eat while enjoying views of the sea and mountains. And for a more formal dinner, Cabo Norte is perfect (the bluefin tuna carpaccio is spectacular).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leisure for everyone<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Moj\u00e1car is also known for its multitude of leisure options. From a vibrant nightlife, especially in summer, with a wide variety of bars and discos where you can dance until the early hours of the morning, to water sports, golf courses and activities for all the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nature lovers will enjoy trails such as La Mena, the Rambla de Aguas or the Ermita de la Virgen del Rosario. You can also go windsurfing, paddle surfing, kitesurfing, kayaking, snorkelling\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
